Polypropylcarbonaat is oplosbaar in polaire oplosmiddelen zoals ketonen, ethylacetaat, dichloormethanen en chloorkoolwaterstoffen, en onoplosbaar in alcoholen, water en alifatische koolwaterstoffen. Het vormt ook een stabiele emulsie in het water. PPC laat gassen zoals zuurstof erdoorheen diffunderen. De glastemperatuur (Tg) ligt tussen de 25 en 45 ℃, en PPC-lijmen zijn amorf. De glastemperatuur van PPC is iets hoger dan die van polyethyleencarbonaat (PEC).
